Although I am prepared to be disappointed by his caving in on the public option, I admire and support President Obama as much as the next guy, if nothing else than he's a role model for my son and countless other children of color. But the Nobel Peace Prize?? (scratching head) Huh?? How can we be at war in Afghanistan and Iraq and he be awarded the peace prize?

So I had to bribe my three year old with 50 cents to go into the other room and get my cell phone since I'm laid up with a sore back. When I first asked him if he could help Daddy and get the cellphone, he said no and continued watching Bob the Builder. When I offered the 50 cents, he couldn't move fast enough. And they say capitalism doesn't work!

To all R&B fans...do yourself a favor, dig into your crates and pull out the soundtrack to Jason's Lyric. Just listened to it for the first time in years and every track is hittin and it doesn't sound dated. Speaking of Jason's Lyric, is it me or does LL Cool J suddenly resemble Bokeem Woodbine in all the NCIS promotional material?

Just spent $350.00 to have the pool caulked. Will spend another $450 to close the pool and winterize. Then another $200 for Sum R Fun to come out twice during the winter to chlorinate the pool. Next summer, you're all invited to visit my kidney-shaped flower garden.
